If we wish to extend the trial period to 30 days, we must register our e-mail address and we will receive the registration key. Alternatively, we can purchase the product either from the developer's website or from the demo interface. It can be installed in the following languages: English, German, and French. 1-abc.net Duplicate Finder is designed to provide us a tool that searches for duplicate files anywhere within our computer, including external devices, such as drivers, memory cards, multimedia drivers, memory stick, and so on. First, we must define from the option window which files should be searched: By identical name, size, file attributes, creating date, modification date, and date of last access. We must go then to the path to search for duplicate, and using the browser button select a hard drive unit, external driver, folder, etc. Once the searching is finished, we are presented with all the duplicate files found, and we must choose which of them will be deleted and which must stay. The program does send them to the recycled bin, just in case we need to recover them. If everything is correct, we can empty the bin. It runs under Windows XP, and Vista operating systems. |
